Each year on Good Shepherd Sunday, the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter holds a collection for seminary formation. The cost of formation for a seminarian is $60,000 per seminarian per year. The Ordinariate currently has ten men in formation and will admit three more to the program this summer, making priestly formation the largest item on the annual operational budget for the Ordinariate. Bishop Lopes invites all of us to join him in making a return to the Lord for the good gifts he is giving to our Church through the Ordinariate.

Please pray for our seminarians and prayerfully consider a contribution to the campaign.
Prayer For Priestly Vocations
WE beseech thee, Almighty God, to call many to the ministry of thy Church in Holy Orders; and to those whom thou dost call give thy grace that they may hear and answer thy voice; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Home Campaign
Survey Summary of Results and Next Steps
As we approach the next steps of our Home Campaign we wanted to review our survey results and explain what you can expect to happen next.
Of the households who responded to the survey, 85% of parishioners strongly agree/agree that the parish meets their sacramental needs, while a slightly lower number, 75%, say it effectively meets their social and fellowship needs. 90% strongly agree/agree that they have confidence in the parish leadership.
The liturgy and ministry area that parishioners say is most important to the parish and to them personally is Adult Faith Formation. The following three were virtually tied for second most important: Additional Weekend Mass time/Regionally based small groups/Ministries to the poor
Regarding church property, the most important priority both personally and to the church was to acquire more property for additional parking, classroom space, etc., and a possible Gothic “landmark” church in the future. A close second was completing the sanctuary renovations, followed by building a fenced in playground area.
Our next steps in the campaign are to develop a feasibility study, provide a proposal with costs, and conduct home visits. More details will be provided in the coming weeks and in our weekly Flocknote e-mails.
